What do you use to wake up in the morning?

Alarm clock?
Cell Phone?
Radio?

How does it make you feel?

How would you feel about a pillow that glowed and displayed the time when it was time to wake up, so it wouldn’t be loud and annoying, the light would slowly wake you up?

    I use an alarm clock. It is a bit annoying, but that is its job. If it isn’t loud and annoying I would just not get up and turn it off. A pillow that glowed wouldn’t really work because you are essentially sleeping, but I guess people who are really sensitive to light may get it.

    i drool on my pillow so it mite short circuit and shock me. maybe time automated light in yur room would be nice. plus i dont think the pillow would be very comfortable :P

    I have a cool alarm clock that starts out at a low volume and then gradually gets louder. I like that because it wakes me up without jarring me awake. I can set it to a beep (as opposed to that standard obnoxious BRRrrraaaaAAAP noise) or to music…both start out at a low volume and then get louder.

    I don’t think a light would work for me, as many times people have come into my room and accidentally (or intentionally) turned on the light and it doesn’t wake me up. Maybe one that vibrates instead would work, but then my girlfriend would probably end up sleeping on it instead of letting me put my head on it ;)

    That pillow idea wouldn’t work for me, plus with all that gear in it it probably wouldnt be very comfortable. I set an alarm clock all the time, but I always turn it off in my sleep. I even tried putting it behing doors and making mini obstacle courses leading to it from my bed. I need a person to pull me out of bed.

    idk about the pillow, it would probably end up on the floor or chucked at my dog when she whines at 5 am (like the regular pillows i normally use)

    right now i use two alarm clocks, one by my bed and one in the bathroom. just spent more money than i ever thought i would on an alarm clock that displays the time on the ceiling, thought that would help. problem is i take my contacts or glasses off to sleep, and i can’t see that far to tell what time it is on the ceiling…

    scared the crap out of me the first time i woke up to the glowy blue light on the ceiling! now i just use the alarm, and the one in the bathroom.

    funny, but i really think that if i could see better first thing in the morning, i would wake up faster. will update if i ever get lasik done XD.

    hate the alarm clocks but they are the only thing that works…sometimes my phone rings before i’m fully awake and i beat the crap out of the alarm clock before i realize it’s the phone. (think i mentioned i was blind? B-) radio puts me back to sleep, unless its a lite rock station. then i beat the crap out of the radio.
