I have the exact same alarm clock and I have had it as long as I can remember (I'm almost 20 years old) Mine still works perfectly and I use it everyday to get up for school lol. I found it at Goodwill for $2.50 last Sunday. The radio worked, but the clock would only show the colon. I couldn't get it set, either. Turned out that someone had modded the clock circuit somehow (2 extra caps + snooze switch was wired wrong). Just for fun, I decided to restore the original circuit (no schematics; just the diagrams on the PCB!!), and lo and behold, the clock works now!
